Placing Your Order

Definitions

  • Product – means a product displayed for sale on our website
  • We/us – means CheekyArts.
  • CheekyArts is a trading name of MHH Creative Ltd
  • Order – means products you have selected from our website and paid for
  • Website – means the website located at www.cheekyarts.com or any subsequent URL which may replace it
  • Customised Order – means for a fee, you have instruct us with an adaption to an existing product is undertaken or commissioned us to create a bespoke item
  • Administration Fee – means a charge for us to perform a task that falls outside our normal remit of selling you a product
  • You – means a user of our website.

Placing your order

 

When placing an order with CheekyArts you are automatically entering into a contract with us in terms of the payment and supply of Products. Below outlines what you can expect from us and how we will manage your order and the sequence for processing it.

After you have submitted your order, you will receive an automated email acknowledging your purchase. Your order will be picked up by our internal team members on the next working day. Depending on what type of product you have ordered governs how we then process it.

 

Standard items – Typically these are products that form part of our standard non-customised range. Providing the correct funds for both product and postage have cleared into our account; and we have the item in stock; we will release the item in line with our Delivery Policy.

 

Customised Orders – If we have received a request to produce a customised product or request for a commissioned piece of artwork then we will review the order details and confirm a price and delivery date.

 

Order Information – It is your responsibility to supply CheekyArts with the correct Name, Telephone Number, Address Details and Email address. It is not CheekyArts responsibility to check your supplied information. If you have mistakenly supplied us with incorrect details please email us on XXXXX@CheekyArts.com forwarding any relevant details on your order / time / date / payment method.

Taking Payment

 

Typically speaking (unless it is a customised order) once you have placed your order, payment is automatically taken in order to progress your order. With customised orders, typically we supply an estimate along with a request to make payment to enable us to proceed further. No orders will be processed unless the correct funds have been received. Once funds have been received, you have entered into a formal contract with us. If paying by Cheque, no orders will be processed until funds have fully cleared into our account.

Please be aware that paying by cheque incurs an administration and banking fee to which we reserve the right to charge an additional sum to cover these charges.

 

Administration Fees – For some of our processes we reserve the right to charge an administration fee. The charges are:

  • Processing a cheque – we reserve the right to charge a minimum of £10 per cheque per transaction.
  • Issuing refunds for cancellations – we reserve the right to charge a minimum £20 or 5% of the total order value (whichever is greater) as a administration fee
  • Investing a quality issue that is proven to be unfounded – we reserve the right to charge £80p/h for the time spent investigating any false claims made against us.

Processing Your Order 

 

Guaranteeing supply – Please be advised that by us receiving your order, does not mean we can guarantee supply. All of our products are produced in low quantities with some items being produced by trusted 3rd parties. As such we are potentially exposed to delays in receiving either production materials and or externally produced products – all of which are subject to our suppliers terms and conditions + risk of cancellation without notice. In such a (rare) occurrence we would as a matter of course inform you of any potential / known issues so you can decide if you wish to proceed or cancel your order.

 

Right to refuse orders  – CheekyArts has the right to refuse incoming orders if they suspect any fraudulent actively of any kind / or consider the customer to be hostile / aggressive and or likely to use our products in a negative way. In such circumstances notification of cancellation would be given without explanation and any funds returned to the sender. In cases of suspected fraud the relevant authorities would be notified.

 

Preparing and releasing your order – Your order constitutes an offer to CheekyArts to purchase products from our online store or physical store. All orders are subject to CheekyArts accepting your order – which we will confirm in the manner outlined above. If your order has been placed online, we will issue a Dispatch Confirmation email to your designated address updating you on your order. After we have accepted your order we are unable to cancel or refund your beyond what is outlined in our Refund Policy.
