CheekyArts from the outset has been setup to provide high quality products with the lowest possible environmental impact. Our aim is the raise a smile without it costing the earth.

Now more than ever our environment is centre stage to our collective survival and being innovative, challenging the status quo, being leaders rather than follower with a hungry to always do better, we know we have a unique message and market position.

Minimal Production

Unlike many other retail stores, we produce many of our products in house and manufacture them in small batches. The key positives is that it means we have very little wastage, our energy consumption is kept low and we can closely monitor the quality of every product we produce.

Minimal Packaging

Apart from items brought in store, nearly all of our products will be despatched via postal services. We have invested time and energy into ensuring we have found the perfect balance between securing and minimising damage in transit and keeping the material to a minimum with avoiding the use of plastics in preference to using biodegradable cello wrappers.

Product Innovation

With every product we are continually reviewing how we can produce a quality product with minimum impact.
This ranges from the materials, Inks, Production Methods we use through to the viability of how recyclable the product is post practical use. For example, our Occasion Cards, we only use recycled paper for the card then use an eco-friendly envelope and cello wrapper, all of which are fully biodegradable. This is very much a continual ‘work in progress’ as there is always new technologies coming online that can often reduce any impact.

Partnership with Greengeeks

We have partnered with Greengeeks who on our behalf now manage our hosting requirements. They provide carbon neutral hosting and a tree planting scheme.
